As MAS has announced its plan to discontinue the issuance of $1000 note in Singapore, lots of collectors/non-collectors have been seen queuing over bank counters or buying from online in hope of getting hold of a piece of history of Singapore banknotes.
While any series of $1000 bill is a good collectible item, which is more worth the premium you are paying for?
A piece of Singapore Ship Series $1000 bearing the signatory of Mr. Richard Hu is up for sale, this note is very well preserve to Extra Fine condition in my opinion. This piece is moderately circulated, with folds and some minor stains. The paper is strong and crispy.

A set of two consecutive running pieces of Singapore Ship Series $1000 bearing the signatory of Mr. Richard Hu is up for sale, these notes are very well preserve to Extra Fine++ - Almost Uncirculated condition in my opinion.
The paper is generally clean and crispy, with some minor creases, no dead folds. The only major flaw are the "stapler holes" left behind by Office Ladies back then..., otherwise these are consider reasonably good condition collection.
Selling cheap due to its flaws, may not be suitable for fussy collectors.
